HAMS Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is currently delivering the Plumbing, Drainage, Stormwater Disposal System and Sanitary Installation works for the DIMO Automotive Workshop Development in partnership with Synergy Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. The project involves the complete installation of plumbing services, underground drainage networks, sanitary piping systems, stormwater disposal infrastructure, testing and commissioning for a modern industrial automotive workshop. Construction is currently in progress. SLINTEC Emergency Pipeline Repair

SLINTEC Emergency Pipeline Repair

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

HAMS Engineering was mobilised on an emergency basis to repair a leaking DN150 pump room pressure pipeline at the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) facility in Colombo. The 160mm uPVC PNt11 pressure line had developed a leak at the DN150 valve flange connection, threatening continuous operations at the research facility. Our team was dispatched within hours of the initial call. The damaged flange connection was dismantled, new flange components were fitted with corrected alignment, and all connections were torqued to specification. A full pressure and leak test confirmed zero leakage, and the pipeline was returned to full service on the same day. Highlights: - Emergency Response: Rapid mobilisation within hours of initial call - Completed Within One Day: Full repair and recommissioning in a single working day - DN150 Pressure Pipeline: DN150 valve connection repair and rectification - 160mm uPVC PNt11: Pressure pipeline component replacement - Flange Replacement: Damaged flange connection fully replaced - Leak Rectification: Zero-leakage result confirmed by pressure testing - Pipeline Alignment: Corrected misalignment across pump room manifold - Testing & Recommissioning: Full pressure test and system recommissioning Outcome: - Pipeline leak fully rectified within one working day - Minimal operational disruption to SLINTEC facility - Zero-leakage result confirmed by pressure testing - Pump room returned to full service same day - All works completed to industry standards
