SLINTEC Emergency Pipeline Repair
Project Overview
HAMS Engineering was mobilised on an emergency basis to repair a leaking DN150 pump room pressure pipeline at the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) facility in Colombo.
The 160mm uPVC PNt11 pressure line had developed a leak at the DN150 valve flange connection, threatening continuous operations at the research facility.
Our team was dispatched within hours of the initial call. The damaged flange connection was dismantled, new flange components were fitted with corrected alignment, and all connections were torqued to specification.
A full pressure and leak test confirmed zero leakage, and the pipeline was returned to full service on the same day.
